SCARLETT Johansson’s personal trainer has revealed how the Hollywood beauty keeps super fit – by tucking into Scottish haddock. On-set fitness coach to the stars Ramona Braganza said Scarlett, 27, became a fan of the fish while she was filming sci-fi horror movie Under The Skin in Scotland last autumn. And while Scarlett learned to love Scotland, it was like jetting back home for former Baywatch actress Ramona, who trained the Scottish Claymores cheerleading team in the city in the 1990s and has other celeb clients including Eva Mendes and Halle Berry.
Scarlett spent much of her time in Glasgow, working 14-hour days on set. But she particularly enjoyed a location shoot in Carnoustie – where she developed her taste for haddock. Ramona said: “She really enjoyed the food and loved how fresh everything was. “Her favorite food was the haddock. She said that was one of the highlights of the trip. “She needed lots of fresh air and energy to take part in the film and she definitely got a lot of that in Scotland.”Ramona devised a fitness routine for Scarlett while in Scotland, which involved lots of getting out in the great outdoors.
She managed to go unrecognised, working out among the runners in Kelvingrove Park. And she also got to shop for her healthy treats incognito at Great Western Road wholefoods shop Roots and Fruits. Ramona said: “She loved living in the west end. We’d get up really early in the morning and we often ran by the River Kelvin. The scenery is just gorgeous so it made the workout so much easier.”
