Johansson first met Penn when they were both reaching out to victims of the earthquake in Haiti last year, reports The Washington Post. However, right now, it seems that the relationship is no more than just an admiration.

Penn also recently went through a breakup, says Us Magazine. The actor and Robin Wright ended their tumultuous relationship last year. Johansson’s marriage to Reynolds fizzled out in December.

Both Penn and Johansson have several film projects in the works, so there’s no telling if they will have time to develop a relationship. Penn will appear in the upcoming Tree of Life and This Must Be the Place, while Johansson is filming We Bought a Zoo and The Avengers.
